Dad & Dianne:
1 Corinthians 13:4-7 NASB
“Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
I thought there was no better way to start this blog post than to begin with the solid truth from the One who IS Love. My hope is for you to join each other in marriage with the bond of Jesus…the bond of love. You both have a story of great testament to how God carried you through a very difficult time in life. I’m always amazed by the way God orchestrates our lives. He works things out (bad things that happen) for the good to those who love him and are called according to his purposes. God is the glue that mends broken hearts. He was the one that brought revelation, repentance, healing and new beginnings.
And the news that brings an eternal hope, joy and connection is that God is still doing a good work in you. I’m excited for all things that have yet unfolded and I’m believing for great things to come for you and your marriage. I thank God for placing you in such a special part of my life and I consider myself blessed to call you family. It’s wonderful to see the two of you so happy and in love. I can hardly wait to celebrate this exciting time of life with you. August is just around the corner!
Dianne, you are an amazing woman and I’m really looking forward to building a relationship with you. You are the perfect addition to our family.
Thank you for letting me capture some moments (in the freezing cold) of your love for each other. I look forward to being a part of documenting your special day, too!
