Baby Abby

This was such a fun and special photo shoot for so many reasons. It was nothing less than a privilege to document sweet little Abby at just 2 weeks of age. She was so peaceful and slept most of our time together. She didn’t even seem disturbed through the many times I moved her around.

Deborah (Abby’s beautiful mommy), is one of my dearest friends. We met at the early stages of our pregnancy and grew close in a short time. I was 38 weeks pregnant during our photo shoot, so photographing Deborah with Abby got me even more excited about Liam’s arrival. I cherish our friendship and I’m thankful we get to share such a wonderful time of life together.

The photo session took place in our living room, which was given the new name Simanjuntak Studios for the day. We have french doors with huge windows that lead out to our deck. The doors provide awesome light with the sun shining through. The comfy couch also made for a great location!

There were so many great photos to choose from, so it was hard to decide which ones to share. I hope you enjoy the collection as much as I enjoyed creating it! Thanks again to Deborah and Abby for making our time together so wonderfully memorable. I love you Debs!
